🎨 A new logo with a Henley College connection!

We’re delighted to see the new Riverside Counselling Service logo officially unveiled, following a creative competition with our Graphics and Animation students.

Congratulations to Mio A’Court, whose winning design was chosen for its strong sense of community and connection to Riverside’s existing identity. Well done to runners-up Erin Moses and Grace Brown!

Tom Pye, from South Stoke, is celebrating an excellent DDM in the Level 3 Extended Diploma in Business at The Henley College! 👏

🚔 Exploring careers in policing!

Our Uniformed Protective Services students welcomed members of Thames Valley Police’s Positive Action team, PC Pete Butt-Gow and PC Yasser Zubair, last term for an insightful session on careers in policing.

Students had the opportunity to learn more about the police application process, ask questions and gain valuable advice about what it takes to join the force. The team also spoke about the support available to people from all backgrounds, including those who may never have previously considered a career in policing.

A brilliant opportunity to explore future career pathways and hear directly from those working in the profession!

🎉 Fantastic results for Tilly! 🎉

A huge congratulations to Tilly from Sonning Common, who has achieved fantastic results in Classical Civilisation and History, including As, alongside a B in Ancient History! 👏📚

Tilly is “absolutely ecstatic” with her results and will be heading to the University of Reading to study Archaeology. 🏛️🎓

One of the highlights of her time at The Henley College was the Rome field trip, as well as being taught by Geno and Alex.

Best of luck for the future, Tilly- we can’t wait to see where your Archaeology journey takes you! 🌟

🎉 Triple A success for Sasha! 🎉

A huge congratulations to Sasha Harrison from Great Missenden, who has achieved an incredible A, A, A in A Level English Literature, Classical Civilisation and History! 📚👏

Reflecting on her results, Sasha said:

“I am so happy with my results and relieved that the process is over, but I will miss the college and all my teachers so much in September!”

Sasha is taking a gap year to gain valuable experience for her CV, while also using the time to explore her options and decide on her path after university.

She also shared how much she has enjoyed her time at Henley, saying she will especially miss her teachers Hannah and Geno and all their lessons. 💙
