What if postgraduate study didn’t mean pressing pause on your career or relocating? For Rea Johnston, it didn’t.
While working full-time in Northern Ireland as a Mental Health Care Worker, she studied online for her Investigative Psychology MSc (Distance Learning) with the University of Huddersfield.
Since graduating, her path has included publishing her thesis on femicide, presenting at conferences and progressing into a Trainee Forensic Psychologist role.
Rea said: “The course exceeded my expectations in every way. It has genuinely been the highlight of my academic journey so far. The quality of teaching is exceptional, the lecturers are incredibly knowledgeable, supportive, and clearly leaders in their field. Huddersfield is truly in a league of its own, and I don’t say that lightly."
“The content was brilliant. It’s genuinely riveting - you almost forget you’re learning.”
