Congratulations to Dr Lindsay Snodgrass who has been appointed as interim principal and chief executive of UHI Inverness.
Dr Snodgrass, a vice principal at UHI Inverness since 2022, took up the role on Monday. Her appointment follows Professor Chris O’Neil’s decision to step down after nine years in the post.
Dr Snodgrass said: “It’s an honour for me to take over the reins from Professor O’Neil, who has been a passionate and inspiring leader and a supportive and trusted colleague for nearly a decade. The current challenges across the college and university sectors are well-known, and it is within this context that we at UHI Inverness will continue to adapt, innovate and support our students to gain valuable qualifications and secure rewarding careers, making a significant contribution to the economic opportunities in the Highlands.”
