As part of the launch of our 10th anniversary celebrations, staff, student representatives and partners came together on Monday to mark a decade of the University of Suffolk.

To celebrate the occasion, long-serving members of staff Associate Professor Robert Price and Teresa Steward, Head of Culture, OD & Workforce Transformation, planted the first of 10 hawthorn and blackthorn shrubs that will form a new hedgerow on our campus.

The new hedgerow will help create a more sustainable green space and provide an important habitat for birds and insects, reflecting our ongoing commitment to sustainability and our local environment.

A huge thank you to our Sustainability Team for helping to organise the planting, and to everyone who joined us to mark this important milestone.

As we look ahead to the next 10 years, we’re excited to continue growing our impact across Suffolk and beyond. 🌱

As we mark 10 years of the University of Suffolk, we are celebrating the people, achievements and moments that have contributed to our University community over the past decade 💛

To help us mark the occasion, we were delighted to receive this wonderful creation from the University of Suffolk alumna Billie Allen.

Billie graduated in 2018 with a BSc Radiotherapy and Oncology and now works in Nuclear Medicine. She has recreated our iconic Waterfront Building as a gingerbread house, demonstrating an impressive level of creativity and attention to detail.

We are incredibly grateful to Billie for creating this special piece to help us celebrate such an important milestone.

Here's to celebrating 10 years of the University of Suffolk and looking ahead to the next chapter 🎉
