Accredited by the Chartered Society of Forensic Sciences, our forensic science students across all our programmes have the chance to train in a dedicated Crime Scene House and Crime Scene Simulation Centre simulating real-world environments and scenarios, and benefit from access to state-of-the-art laboratories equipped with industry-standard technology.
Our students also take part in fieldwork activities based across 's extensive campus. Our curriculum also spans the full forensic process - from crime scene investigation to courtroom presentation - and covers a diverse range of topics including genetics, toxicology, anthropology, arson investigation, and forensic analysis, alongside contemporary areas such as digital forensics, forensic geoscience, and wildlife forensics.
The range of our courses also reflects our wide success, with students able to study for both BSc, MSci, and MSc degrees in forensic science. These include more specialist courses in and .
