At this year's awards evening, Finlay Bindoff from Reckitt was awarded special recognition for his outstanding contributions in company.

Finlay has developed exceptionally well within the Controls Department. His apprenticeship marks the first time Reckitt has appointed an apprentice in this specialist area and so far, has far exceeded the expectations of an apprentice in this pioneering role.

Every task assigned to him has been completed to a consistently high standard, demonstrating his both his attention to detail and understanding of the importance of quality within a controls environment.

His approachable attitude, reliability, and willingness to support others have earned him an excellent reputation across the site, with feedback from colleagues and managers alike placing him in very high regard.

To further enhance his development. Finlay was moved out of his core area to broaden his skillset and gain a deeper understanding of the wider Reckitt site and its operations. He embraced this challenge wholeheartedly, using the opportunity to strengthen his technical knowledge and demonstrate his adaptability.

Finlay represents the very best of what an apprentice can achieve at Reckitt and is a credit to their organisation.

To kick off Humber Business Week, we were delighted to attend the Future Talent and Recruitment Expo for Small Businesses!

The event brought together employers, training providers, and aspiring professionals to explore the future of workforce development, skills growth, and recruitment opportunities across the Humber region.

It was fantastic to meet so many individuals interested in the apprenticeship and career pathways we have to offer, while also speaking with local employers about how apprenticeships can help attract fresh talent, develop key skills, and support business growth.

Thank you so much for having us!

Today we say goodbye to a treasured member of our team, Andrea.

Andrea has given over 22 years of service to HETA, and in that time has offered a warm welcome to thousands of learners and delegates who have launched or furthered their careers at our training centres and has worked tirelessly as a member of our administration team, supporting the wider business to run smoothly.

Andrea has also helped a number of our own staff to start their careers in administration, notably our Head of Sales and Marketing, Charlotte Hogben and EPA Coordinator, Sam Rorrison, who both benefitted from Andrea's support and guidance when they joined our business some years ago.

Her kind nature and warm presence will no doubt be missed by all fortunate enough to work alongside her, but we would like to wish Andrea all the very best for her well deserved retirement!
