A new paper by Dr Allan Discua Cruz, Professor Eleanor Hamilton, Dr Giovanna Campopiano and Professor Sarah Jack explores how women’s strengths as innovators, facilitators, bridge builders, and money managers emerged during times of trouble and helps preserve family business continuity.

Professor Jess (Jesus) Chua currently holds two positions as Distinguished Professor of Family Business at the University of Lancaster, UK and as Faculty Professor of Finance and Family Business Governance at the University of Calgary, CANADA. Last week we had the pleasure of having Dr. James Cunningham (Robert Gordon University) as invited guest speaker at the Centre for Family Business. His topic Family entrepreneurship in the community:
moral authority or hostage to context? provided attendees with current insights and questions related to the field of family business. The seminar provided a space to discuss aspects of family, entrepreneurship and our immediate environment. We look forward to having Dr. Cunningham visiting us again in the near future.
