Did you graduate from Lancaster's Department of Sociology between May and July 2019? If so, you should have been sent the Graduate Outcomes survey via email The survey end date is approaching: 30th November - and your voice counts!

The aim of the The Graduate Outcomes survey is to find out what you're doing now, what graduate success means to you, and how you might be using the skills that you gained at Lancaster. We really want to know about your current situation and your perspectives on graduate life.

It is the UK’s biggest annual social survey and is crucial in helping us to develop our careers & employability service, to reflect on our courses, and to find out how we can improve the student experience in Sociology and Lancaster University.

How does stigma contribute to social inequalities? Our webinar 18 Aug 12-1BST with Prof Imogen Tyler will tackle this question with incredible stories and uncomfortable histories. If you have been following her on Twitter, you will have seen previews of her work on Lancaster's slave history and the scold's bridle women were forced to wear between 16-19th Centuries. Her recent book also discusses stigmatisation (tattooing). The conversation is sure to be fascinating.
