Hey guys! We are looking for a Secretary for the 2026/27 academic year! This is ESSENTIAL to keep the society running next year. The role itself mainly consists of assisting two other Committee members in running the society (mainly the weekly sessions and workshops) - but don’t worry, full training will be provided beforehand, and the role itself is not as high demand!
University of Leeds students that are current SNB members can run for the role - if you are interested, please DM us and we will give you the further details! We can also answer any specific questions you may have about the role 🩷

Hey guys! We’re going to be hosting a Rosette Making Workshop on WEDNESDAY, MARCH 25, 5:00PM-7:00PM in Maurice Keyworth SR1.05! All materials and instructions will be provided - however, a ticket is needed! They are £6 for members, and £7 for non-members, and can be obtained here: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/snb-rosette-making-workshop-tickets-1985516589568?aff=oddtdtcreator (SNB members, please check the members-only GCs for the discount code!)
If you want your own picture on your rosette, please submit this using this Google form after purchasing your ticket (you will need your purchase confirmation to fill in the form): https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScKr8Cg9FCP9cB6vdjWaQw_R2jThbi1fdGgiEzFr2vvj9q0cQ/viewform?usp=publish-editor - this is because we need to format and print out the pictures beforehand! Not sure where to get yarn in Leeds, or just want an excuse to buy more yarn? Join us for a Yarn Run on MONDAY, FEBRUARY 9TH! We’ll be showing you around all the best places to get yarn in Leeds, and finishing off with a trip to a coffee shop to debrief/work on our WIPs/start new WIPs!
A free ticket is needed, which can be booked with the link below - spaces are extremely limited, but we may consider hosting more Yarn Runs in the future if this one sells out fast! We’ll be meeting at Parkinson’s Steps at 12PM - full itinerary is on the next slide! Please note that times are approximations, but we expect the event to end at around 4PM 🩷
