Congratulations to Leeds Trinity alumnus, Cam Hills, who has been named Leeds Rhinos Wheelchair Player of the Year 2026 👏🏆

Cam, who graduated with a degree in Criminology with Police Studies this summer, was introduced to wheelchair rugby league by staff in the sports department at Leeds Trinity only two and a half years ago.

Despite having no experience in any discipline of rugby prior to that, Cam quickly progressed and made his debut for the Rhinos in June 2024. He has since gone onto establish himself as a key part of their team, and we're so proud of everything he has achieved 🏉

Well done, Cam, and good luck to the wheelchair team for the remainder of the season 🦏

We were delighted to welcome three groups of alumni back to Leeds Trinity for a tour of the Horsforth Campus on Saturday 🧡

In what is Leeds Trinity’s 60th year, alumni from the Classes of 1976, 1986, and 1990 joined us to take a trip down memory lane as part of their reunion weekends. It was wonderful to see them, and we hope they all enjoyed their day!

Among the 1986 group were Jane Barnwell, Lisa Tytler, Marie Sheehy, and Clíodna O'Carolan, who recreated a photograph they originally appeared in on the front of the 1988 Trinity and All Saints College prospectus. See the final photo in the gallery below for the result 📸

As we celebrate our 60th anniversary, it's great to be able to highlight the achievements of alumnus Darain Faraz as part of our summer Graduation week 🎓

Darain graduated from Trinity and All Saints College with a degree in Media and Psychology in 2001, and has since gone on to build a successful career in marketing and communications, working with some internationally recognised brands along the way 🤩

Congratulations, Deeba! 👏❤

Congratulations to Deeba Deeba, an asylum seeker from the Hazara community in Pakistan, and mother-of-two, who graduates today with a First-Class degree in Criminology and Law! 👏🌟

Along the way, she earned a Dean's Award, embraced every opportunity, and discovered the confidence to pursue her lifelong dream of becoming a solicitor.

She described her university experience as ‘empowering’: "Everyone at Leeds Trinity made me feel heard, welcome and included. Now I know my rights, I know the laws around my circumstances, and it's really empowering."

Deeba will be staying with us to study the LLM in Legal Practice as she works towards qualifying as a solicitor 🧡

A student who was forced to step away from her studies for almost three years after suffering a stroke has praised the support she received from Leeds Trinity University to return to education and achieve her degree 🎓

To celebrate 50 years since beginning their studies, alumni Paddy and Tricia Curley (née McKniff) are organising a reunion for those who started at Trinity and All Saints College in 1976!

The reunion is expected to take place in November with further details to be confirmed in the coming months.
