This week we were delighted to welcome multi–award-winning author Jenn Ashworth to Runshaw College Sixth Form Centre for an inspiring talk about her life and career. A former student between 1998 and 2000, Jenn was amazed by the transformation of the campus and the high standards demonstrated by both the college and students.

During her visit to the Learning Resource Centre, she delivered an open and honest account of her journey as a writer, sharing the challenges of sustaining a creative career while balancing the demands of work, family, and health.

More than 60 students took part in a Q&A session, asking thoughtful questions about money, career paths, failure, and success. Great to see you again Jenn, and thank you for visiting us to chat to our students!
