We are delighted that Lincoln Bishop University has been ranked 1st in the UK for Student Satisfaction by the Complete University Guide 2027. Lincoln Bishop has now been in the Top 3 for Student Satisfaction for three years running!

History specifically was ranked in the top 5 in the UK for Student Satisfaction by the CUG.

We are incredibly proud that in the 2026 WhatUni Student Choice Awards, Lincoln Bishop University has been ranked 1st in the East Midlands for Career Prospects & Student Support, and 2nd in the East Midlands for Lecturers and Teaching Quality.

We were also in the Top 10 for Career Prospects and the Top 25 for Student Support across the UK as a whole.

Throughout May, Lincoln Bishop University staff will take part in the Lincolnshire Local History Festival across the county.

Dr Alan Malpass and Dr Hazel Kent will discuss "Waging Peace in Lincolnshire", Dr Erik will offer insights into "The Lincolnshire Home Front", Prof. Andrew Jackson will speak on Bernard Samuel Gilbert, and Elaine Johnson will consider "a Lincolnshire View of the Struggle for Suffrage."

2nd year History and Military History students recently completed placements at museums, churches, heritage sites, schools & libraries as part of their Applied Public History module at Lincoln Bishop University.
