We cater to all gamers with a wide variety of games. If you're here to meet like-minded friends or you have a competitive mentality, then we're the society for you! We also serve as a community to socialise within and as a base for gamers to meet up. We will be running many Social Events throughout the year as well as the many Tournaments, Challenges and Theme Nights we have each week!

Just a reminder that our Gaming Quiz is taking place tomorrow 6pm until 9pm at the top floor of the Swan! We've got amazing prizes for our top scorers and entry is free so make sure to come along if you can!

We'll be starting the quiz at 6:30pm, but please try and turn up as soon as possible in order to get set up and sat down ready to start

Hi everyone!

Sorry for the late announcement but we are unable to run an event this week due to other commitments. However, we have two events planned we’d like to announce!

On Friday the 14th of February we’ll be going to see the Sonic Movie with the Terrible Film Society, we’re planning on catching the 8:00pm showing so please meet us outside Odeon at 7:30pm!

On Friday the 21st of February we’ll be hosting a Quiz in the top floor of the Swan. We’ll be starting around 6:00pm, and there will be lots of prizes to be won by the top teams!

Hi everyone!

Next week's social will take place on Friday the 31st of January and we'll be going to Akedo at 7pm! We'll be paying for your entry, so to help us gauge numbers it'd be helpful if you could 'thumbs up' react our event message in discord!

We've also decided that this will also be a refreshers event, so non society members are welcome to come and try out the society for free. As such feel free to bring anyone along that might be interested in the society.

Hi everyone!

We hope that everyone has had an amazing Christmas and New Year! For the start of the new semester we’ll be running a refreshers event. This will be an excellent opportunity for new members to come and get involved with the society.

Our refreshers event will take place on Thursday the 23rd of January, we’ll be having a Smash competition and drinks at Walkabout and then be moving onto Red-5 for more drinks. We’ll be starting at 6pm so make sure to meet us there! We really want to improve and make this semester our best, so please let us know on the day if there is anything we can do to improve or if there is anything you’d like us to run!

As well as this, we’re in the process of scheduling all our events for the rest of the semester, and we’ll be releasing a timetable of said events by the end of next week.

We’ll also be at the refresher’s fayre, so make sure to stop by and say hi if you’re there. Remember; the more the Mario!

Hi everyone!

We're now 20 hours through our marathon and have raised approximately £150 so far! It'd be great if we could get some more support towards the end of event, remember it's all for a good cause!

We'll be revealing our raffles winners at 6:30pm tonight so make sure to turn up for that and to grab any extra raffles tickets before we do our draw! We'll also be running some last minute competitions including Rocket League.

Hey everyone!

Our event is now less than a week away! As mentioned previously we're due to start at 7pm on Friday the 6th of December and end the following day at 7pm. We've now also confirmed we'll be in rooms INB 1102, 1103 and 1301, events will be evenly spit among these rooms.

Tickets will cost members £2, and can either be bought on the door or through our JustGiving page (please make sure your donation is not anonymous so we can prove you've paid). We'll be holding a quiz, a raffle and numerous other competitions with many prizes to be won. As well as this, the marathon is also going to be live-streamed on Twitch, so make sure to get involved even if you can't attend the event in person. As a sidenote, we will not be running a social this week on Thursday because of the marathon.

Hi guys,

We're happy to announce our event for this week (Thursday the 28th, starting at 6pm) will be a social at Walkabout with the 20 Minute Society! We've got the top floor of Walkabout booked out just for us, there's pool and ping pong tables, as well as various consoles and TV's for us to play on as well. For those that haven't received their Walkabout mates rates cards yet we'll be giving them out at the session as well, so make sure to come along!

Hi guys

First off, we'd like to apologise for the late announcement of our event this week. Due to assessment deadlines, other commitments and inability to use Walkabout for our social we'll be unable to run a normal social this week. Instead of this, some of our committee will be active in discord from 6pm until 10pm at our "casual e-social", where we'll be playing an assortment of games and socialising! We'll return to our normal schedule next week.

We apologise for any inconvenience this causes and hope that you all understand!

Hi everyone!

We'd like to announce that our event for Thursday the 14th of November the will be FPS themed! The First Person Shooters we'll be playing this week include but are not limited to: Halo, Team Fortress 2, Call of Duty and Starwars Battlefront 2 (classic)!

We'll be in INB 1301 Lab 1B from 6pm until 10pm so please make sure to come along.

We'd like to announce that our event for the 7th of November will be a MOBA games night! This will be an E-Event, so it'll be taking place online and we'll be hopping in Discord at 6pm until 10pm!

We'll be playing Dota, League, Smite and HotS, so make sure to join us for some fun!

Hi Guys,

We are taking part in the 8 out of 10 swans competition next week and would love to have you all come down and join in the games with us! We win an extra prize if we have the largest member turnout in the evening, so make sure to come on down and show your support for us or any other societies taking part through the evening.

We are playing 5 rounds with a team of 4 players, and the players can be swapped out between rounds, so up to 20 of you could compete for us! If not then the committee will hop in and try and lead us to victory. (no promises though!)

Be sure to make your way to the platform, above the engine shed, as we will be playing from 7 until 8 on Tuesday the 5th. However, other societies are competing from 6 so lets all be good team players and try and show our support for everyone else through the evening. 😁

Hi everyone!

Make sure to come and join us for our spooky Halloween social! We'll be playing a range of horror games together such as SCP Laboratory, Dead by Daylight and System Shock.

We'll be located in INB 1301 Lab 1b, from 6pm until 10pm, Thursday the 31st of October, same time and place as last week.

Please feel free to bring any games or consoles you want to the event as well, and send any questions you have our way through Facebook or Discord.
