aaand the last of our amazing teachers for tomorrow is the brilliant Jeray!! 🌟🌟🤩🤩 Jeray has been dancing for as long as he can remember, inspired by his mother—a Jeray has been dancing for as long as he can remember, inspired by his mother—a passionate dancer and teacher. She introduced him to the fundamentals, but his curiosity led him to explore a wide range of styles, starting with Cali-style salsa and Colombian folk dance before expanding into popping and locking, ballet, and both On1 and On2 salsa. Eventually, he found his passion in bachata, where he blended his diverse influences. Studying traditional, modern, and sensual bachata, he refined his movement and expression, shaping a distinctive style. Jeray began teaching at 16 and, by 18, had established himself as a bachata instructor. Known for his clarity and attention to detail, he helps students master technique while developing their own style and confidence. His unique approach seamlessly fuses multiple bachata techniques with elements from his wider dance background, making his style fluid, controlled, and musically expressive. 🫶☺️🥳

The next of our amazing teachers for LLF (TOMORROW!!! 🫵🫵💜💜🌟🌟) is Ellena! Professional dancer, teacher and performer. Based in Liverpool with over 10 years of experience in the Latin scene, Specialising in Salsa and Bachata. Coming from a background of other genres like hip-hop, contemporary and vogue, Her Latin dance journey first began with Salsa back in 2015 before also discovering her love for Bachata at an international festival in Madrid back in 2018 and has been hooked since…Over the years, Ellena has connected, collaborated and learnt from numerous talented artists and decided to establish her own dance company ‘LatinSoul’ three years ago. Hosts regular classes and events in the UK community and wants nothing more than to express and share this passion with others! 🥳💃

The next of our brilliant teachers (/DJs!) is Mauricio! 🌟🌟🤩🤩 MC, Teacher, DJ Mauricio Reyes is the founder of LatinMotion, the biggest Salsa & Bachata outfit in the Midlands (UK) since it was established in the early 1990’s. Originally from Latin America but based in Birmingham (UK), Mauricio has been dancing & listening to Latin Dance Music all of his life, and began teaching dance since 17 years old.
