The meeting will feature a talk by Mr Steve Warbis of Macclesfield Astronomical Society titled "Art in Astronomy"

The meeting will feature the Jeremiah Horrocks Memorial Lecture given by Mr. Russell Parry with a talk titled "Stuart Roosa and the Moon Trees"

Great turnout for yesterday evening's Liverpool Astronomical Society monthly meeting. The meeting featured an excellent talk by former Society President Steve Southern titled "What are U.A.P." in which he discussed the interesting topic of Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena. Congratulations to Steve Tomkinson, the winner of the prize draw for an impressive framed display of Apollo mission patches made by Society Librarian Anne Smith who is seen here presenting the prize to Steve.

Wishing all a very Merry Christmas and a happy healthy and peaceful New Year with best wishes from the Admins and L.A.S. Council members. Please note that the L.A.S. Leighton Observatory, Pex Hill, Cronton will be closed to the public over Christmas and New Year. The observatory will re-open on Wednesday 7th January 2026.
