☪ LAMHE 2015 ☪
We cordially invite you to our magnificent Pakistani Society Charity Dinner & Dance - a night of elegance and entertainment that will truly be one to remember in PakSoc history. A perfect way to end the year!
The elegant, enchanting evening boasts a spectacular three-course meal, a captivating collection of Pakistani fashion modelled by our very own students, an eclectic mix of entertainment including a special headline act, photographers, a talented DJ, a raffle with amazing prizes, photobooths, and last but not least; a mouth watering desserts followed by an evening of dancing.
We are working in partnership with Human Relief Foundation for Project Iqra, which aims to provide education for children in rural areas in Pakistan.
We all understand how valuable our education is, it is why we work so hard at University. But it cannot be denied that we take our education for granted in that most of us had the privilege of a stable education, in safe classrooms complete with books and stationary. Not everyone is as privileged; in Pakistan over 5.5 million children are currently not in education. All it takes is £50 to fund one child’s education for a whole year - only a fraction of the £9000 we pay.
100% of all profits from Lamhe 2015 will be donated to Project Iqra
