Are you a current West Lothian College student?

Do you have drive, ambition creativity and want to make a difference?

Do you think you have what it takes to be one of our next full-time student presidents?

We are looking for two full-time sabbatical presidents to support, represent and amplify the student voice.

These are elected and remunerated (paid) positions for two years!

Do you have what it takes? If you would like to find out more information, please pop into the Student Association.

To apply, you must complete a nomination form and indicate what you will do to improve the Student experience- your manifesto commitment for students!

Deadline for nomination forms is 27th April! - So don’t delay get in touch now!!

WHILST most of us have recovered from our Scottish New Year celebrations, the Chinese still have another few weeks to go.
And they'll be celebrating in style in West Lothian, with a range of exciting activities lined up at West Lothian College from 11am - 3pm on Sunday 1 March.
Activities include: Scottish bagpipes, Chinese performances, Cultural shows from India, Slovakia, Africa and more, plus a Lunar New Year Market – the first of its kind in West Lothian.
2026 is the Year of the Fire Horse, the first time since England won the World Cup in 1966.

Throughout February, we’ll be sharing a weekly series of posts highlighting key domestic abuse statistics, raising awareness of the unique barriers LGBTQ+ people can face, and signposting supportive resources for LGBTQ+ couples and individuals.

If you’re on campus this week by arrangement with your lecturers, please note that the Campus Café will be closed.

But don’t worry- West Lothian College Student Association's space will remain open, and you’re welcome to use the facilities, including the microwave, fridge, and hot water.

Vending machines will still be available, and you can also enjoy free tea and coffee from the machine in Building 1.

If you do need anything, the Student Association team is here to help- just pop in, send them a message on Teams, or use Ask Us Anything and they’ll get back to you as soon as they can.
