We’re proud to announce that Waltham Forest College has been selected as one of the host venues for the WorldSkills UK National Finals in 2027 and 2028, as London prepares to welcome the UK’s leading celebration of skills.

Delivered in partnership with the Mayor of London , the landmark event will bring together talented students and apprentices from across the UK to compete in more than 40 skill disciplines, spanning engineering and manufacturing, digital, health, hospitality, the built environment and more.

Alongside fellow London host venues Capital City College and London South East Colleges , we’re delighted to play our part in showcasing the exceptional talent, ambition and technical skills that London has to offer. This is a fantastic opportunity to shine a spotlight on skills, technical education and the achievements of learners and apprentices, while inspiring the next generation to discover where their skills can take them.

We look forward to working collaboratively with our fellow host colleges and WorldSkills UK to make the 2027 and 2028 National Finals a truly memorable celebration of skills, talent and opportunity.

Day 1 of induction has been an incredible start for our new and returning students!

From meeting their tutors and getting to know the campus, to hearing from our Principal and discovering what lies ahead, today has been all about new beginnings, new opportunities and becoming part of our community. The place where ambitions grow, confidence builds and futures take shape. We look forward to welcoming the rest of our cohorts for Days 2 and 3 as we continue the journey together.
