Meet our speakers:
Devika Sharma is a doctoral researcher at the Institute for Design Innovation. With a Technฤ (AHRC) funded PhD, her research is titled: โDesign activism: An exploration of repertoires and public participation.โ As a multidisciplinary designer, her experience and interests lie in service design, social change, user research, ethnography and innovation.
Stephen Cho is a researcher and an award-winning art director pursuing his PhD at Loughborough University London. His research deciphers the institutional system affecting creative collaboration in the creative industry. Aiming to uncover innovative methods for agencies to boost their value creation, service operations, well-being and creativity.
Reza John Vedadi is a British Iranian award-winning film and documentary director/producer based in London. He has worked on several short films and over 60 documentaries. In 2010 he completed his first master's degree in Film Production at the London Metropolitan University with a second master's in 2016 in Islamic Studies at Middlesex University. He recently completed his PhD at Loughborough University London.
Happy Singu-Hansen is a PhD candidate at Loughborough University in London. Her research topic is civil society, youth, and social change, with a focus on people-centred development. Happy holds an MA in Sociology from the University of Dar es Salaam and an MSc in Social Entrepreneurship and Management from Roskilde University, Denmark.
