This month we’re celebrating the lives and legacies of LGBT+ and intersex pioneers who shaped science, medicine, engineering and social change – often while facing invisibility, prejudice, or exclusion. From innovators and researchers to writers and equality leaders, their work reminds us that q***r people have always been part of knowledge-making, discovery and progress.
 
We honour them not just for who they were, but for what they made possible.

Keeping up with your studies now will make things easier when deadlines and exams approach. Whether it’s lecture notes, coursework, or revision prep, these three simple tips can help you stay ahead:

1️⃣ Break It Down - Large tasks can feel overwhelming, leading to procrastination. Break them into smaller, manageable steps and focus on completing one at a time.

2️⃣ Use the 5-Minute Rule - Commit to working on a task for five minutes. Once you start, you’ll likely keep going and build momentum.

3️⃣ Eliminate Distractions - Create a focused study environment by silencing notifications, setting timers, and using apps like Forest or Pomodoro timers to stay on track.
