I almost forgot to post for Funeral Celebrant Day, but for the best reason.
I’ve spent the day doing what I’m honoured to do: supporting families, holding space and helping them tell the stories that matter most.
I’m just having a moment now to reflect on this work and how deeply grateful I am to walk alongside people during such tender times.
Being a funeral celebrant is a privilege I never take for granted. 💜✨

As a Celebrant I have the immense honour of helping people mark some of the most meaningful moments in their lives. Whether it’s celebrating love in a wedding or vow renewal, honouring a life in a funeral, or creating unique ceremonies for other significant milestones. Amongst many other things, being a Celebrant is about connection, compassion, and storytelling.
The majority of my Celebrant work is within the funeral sector and is something that’s a huge privilege. So This Funeral Celebrant Day, let’s shine a light on the important role Celebrants play in making these moments personal, memorable, and deeply human.

Whether conducting a joyous wedding or a tender farewell, Celebrants are in people’s lives for just a short time but at an incredibly important time creating a ceremony which has a lasting impact for everyone connected.
