Some what belatedly it is a real pleasure to share the Whisky tasting notes from our September 2024 meeting where Yorick Malt Whisky Lodge ventured into Japanese and Workd Whiskies sampling a range from the Far East, India, Austrail, Europe and Scandinavia.

Whilst we are entering some what of a Masonic Summer recess behind the scenes Yorick Lodge is planning for a great year ahead of enjoying our favourite distilled tipple - Whisky

We restart out lodge year on 17th September 2024 with Japanese and World whiskies.

We are also actively working on bringing some new Initiates into the lodge this coming year.

The February Meeting of Yorick, The Metropolitan Whisky Lodge saw a fantastic meeting. It was only our second meeting but there was a fantastic attendance of 65 Brethren in attendance including some very distinguished guests. We enjoyed a tasting of 7 Irish Whiskies which coincidentally matched the number of joining members we also welcomed into Yorick Lodge.

After a fabulous meeting at The Metropolitan Whisky Lodge the Irish Whiskey tastings have started with an excellent presentation on how to taste and wake up the whisky.
Not only do we Yorick Whisky tasting glass the sale of these is raising money for the MetGL Air Ambulance appeal.

March Meeting Update.

Our social Media Officer has obviously drink far too much whisky if that is possible, and made a mistake.

The theme for the meeting on 19th March 2024 is Irish Whiskies and not Welsh as was mistakenly put on the last post.
