Join us and the KCL War Studies Society for an insightful discussion on leading a business during wartime with Yuriy Ryzhenkov, the CEO of Metinvest, one of Europe’s largest metallurgical companies!

Yuriy has been steering Metinvest, which operated the iconic Azovstal factory and now operates Zaporizhstal and other Ukrainian factories, through challenging times. In 2020 Forbes recognised him as one of the top 25 Ukrainian CEOs. Mr Ryzhenkov is also a KCL alumnus.

The second episode of the +380 podcast is now released on YouTube and Spotify 💛

Our guest this time is Marc Berenson - a senior lecturer at King's College London. One of the modules Dr Berenson teaches is Contemporary Ukrainian Politics and Society, which is a new module at KCL available for 3-year students. After receiving his BA from Harvard University, Dr Berenson founded and directed 1996-1998 the 'Law in Action' program for Freedom House in Kyiv, Ukraine, before receiving his PhD in Political Science from Princeton University in 2006.

In the episode, we discussed Ukrainian society 21 months into the full-scale war and how it has changed Ukrainians' attitudes towards their statehood.

We are excited to announce that we have started raising money for the Drone DJI Mavic 3 Pro.

Our goal is £2.550 (~ ₴113,000)
The drone will be delivered directly to Ukraine to contribute to Ukraine’s victory.

How can you donate?
We will be raising money on our in-person events. So just come to one of our committee members and they will give you all the instructions.

You can also donate to our bank account (link in bio). We aim to be as transparent as possible, so will report for each pound collected.
