As part of the 30th Anniversary of Human Rights Education at the ,
we will be profiling alumni and currents students on our MA and PhD programmes to highlight their contributions to securing human rights.
⭐ This month's alum is Antonia Mulvey ⭐
Antonia Mulvey is the Founder and Executive Director of Legal Action Worldwide (LAW). She is a British lawyer specialised in international human rights law, international criminal law, and refugee law. Antonia has extensive experience working with the United Nations and international organisations and has practiced criminal and refugee law at leading human rights firms in the UK.
Throughout her career she has advised governments on judicial and legislative reforms in conflict and crises countries. She represents survivors of human rights violations and international crimes – including conflict-related sexual violence (CRSV) – in Syria, the occupied Palestinian territory, Ukraine, Sudan, Myanmar, Ethiopia, South Sudan, Somalia, Lebanon and Sri Lanka.
She has been appointed multiple times as an UN investigator specialising in sexual violence and violations against children as war crimes, crimes against humanity, and genocide.
