Yesterday, the Student Voice Network meeting marked the successful introduction of the new Student Voice Peer Support Drop-in Clinics, a student-led initiative designed to strengthen communication between postgraduate students and the PG Placements Team.
The event highlighted the journey and growth of the Student Voice Network since its establishment in August 2025, showcasing how student feedback and collaboration continue to shape the postgraduate placements experience.
Students shared the impact of the network’s work so far, from peer engagement initiatives and industry discussions to creating more accessible support for postgraduate students navigating placements and university life.
A key focus of the event was the launch of the new Peer Support Drop-in Clinics, created to provide students with a welcoming first point of contact where they can connect with peers, ask questions, and receive guidance in a supportive environment. The Student Voice Peer Support Drop-in Clinics will now run on the first Thursday of every month, from 10am–4pm in the MBA Suite at Docklands Library. We look forward to welcoming more students and continuing to build a supportive postgraduate community together.
A huge thank you to everyone who attended, contributed, and supported the initiative. It was inspiring to see students leading meaningful change and building a stronger postgraduate community together.
