Hello guys!

Hope you are doing well. As you already know, currently there is a nomination week for society election. You can nominate yourself for any position in the team, e.g. president, PR, event officer or finance officer. We strongly encourage you to nominate yourself. It is a great experience and so much fun to lead the society and meet all the students. The whole nomination will not take you longer than 10 minutes. You can nominate yourself for the position at www.mdxsu.com/nominate by 12 pm this Friday (28th February).

Following the nomination week, we will have Campaign Night in the Claddagh Ring on Thursday 5th March, where you can present your ideas to our members. All our members are welcome to join us for the night full of campaigning and great fun.

The week between 13th March-19th March is a voting week and we will post more information after the Campaign night.

Do not hesitate to contact us if you have any problem with the nomination or if you would like to get more details.

We will see you in the Claddagh Ring next Thursday, 5th March.

Ahojte ľudia!

Dostali sme správičku od našej študentky:

Barbora Sláviková hľadá umelcov so záujmom spolupracovať na umeleckom projekte. Ide o jednodňové podujatie, ktoré bude reprezentovať slovenských umelcov žijúcich v Londýne. Cieľovou skupinou- hosťami bude slovenská komunita v Londýne; počet osôb sa odhaduje na cca 40. Podujatie bude zahŕňať výstavu umeleckých diel, hudobný doprovod alebo vystúpenie, pravdepodobne aj interakciu účastníkov podujatia s umelcami- ak to umelci schvália. Podujatie je plánované na koniec februára/ začiatok marca.

Ahojte!!!

Československá reštaurácia nám zrušila booking keďže sme študenti a mysleli si že nemáme na to peniaze aby sme si u nich niečo objednali. Volali sme s nimi snažila sa vyriešiť tento problém. Ale neochotný manažér s veľmi arogantnými prístupom mal problém sa s nami vôbec rozprávať. Aj keď pred týždňom s tým nemali žiaden problém a boli radi že prídeme.

Veľmi nás to mrzí snažili sme sa to vyriešiť s nimi ústretovo ale neboli ochotní spolupracovať z dôvod h**e uvedených.

Preto sme museli zmeniť plán na zajtra. Miesto československej reštaurácie sa stretneme v clade o 8 večer.

Sme veľmi sklamaní z ich prístupu ktorý predviedli a úprimne Vám neodporúčame tuto reštauráciu po dnešku. Úplne zlyhanie na ich strane a absolútna nespolupraca. A úprimne máte chuť ísť do reštaurácie kde sa k študentom správajú takto?

Znova sa ospravedlňujem a dúfame že sa s vami aj napriek tomu vidíme.
