Welcome to Goldsmiths Short Courses

We offer a wide range of exciting and diverse courses, from taster workshops in Art Psychotherapy, 10 week evening classes in feminist media studies, to Curating Summer Schools in Rome and much more. Our current portfolio of courses have been designed by leading academics to share the knowledge and skills developed from their research activity. We aim to share this research with the wider community, through affordable and innovative short course offerings. This initiative bridges the gap for those who may have already studied, or are considering studying within higher education. We also offer a variety of skills based courses, targeting those looking to increase their professional development. At Goldsmiths we pride ourselves on combining theory and practice, and champion original thought and revolutionary thinking.

We are a research intensive University, specialising in the Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, based in New Cross, South East London. The local community plays an important role in shaping our courses, especially through our Social, Therapeutic and Community Studies Department. We disseminate cutting edge research direct to the public across an ever increasing portfolio. The courses are taught by experienced and friendly tutors, from those who have developed courses based on their latest research, such as Field Recording and How to Write Short Stories that Resonate, to Professors with extensive experience offering high end programmes including Digital UX: Evaluate and Optimise, and Acceptance and Commitment Theory at Work.
