This week, we had the pleasure of welcoming not one, but two UGA groups to London! 🐾🇬🇧

The School of Computing study abroad program spent time with our chapter president, Drew Bacon, at his office at for an inside look at the industry.

Meanwhile, the Institute for Leadership Advancement (ILA) students visited our director of events, Sarah Ahmed, for a session at her office at Artisan Partners.

We love seeing this level of engagement between students and alumni—it’s what makes our network so special, even an ocean away.

We wrapped up the week last night with our annual CS program mixer at Cittie of York, and what a turnout! Huge thanks to:

🐶 Our London alumni who showed up and shared their experience
🐶 The students for bringing thoughtful questions and great energy
🐶 The CS program for organising an even bigger event than last year

The energy was fantastic. If you missed it—don’t worry, there’s more to come this year. Stay tuned for future opportunities to connect, mentor, and get involved.

We’re thrilled to kick off our first event of the year — mark your calendars! 🐾

On Friday, 13 March, we’re welcoming the Computer Science study abroad program to Cittie of York Pub for an evening of networking, conversation, and connection. 🇬🇧

This is one of our favourite events of the year — a chance to meet current students, share career insights, and show them what the network looks like on this side of the pond.

Happy Boxing Day dawgs! We hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday season! We have been getting quite a few questions around the Sugar Bowl and if we will be holding a viewing party. While we won’t be doing an “official” one, we HIGHLY encourage all dawgs that want to watch the game in the city to head over to The Loose Box in Westminster late on New Year’s Day/Jan 2nd. They will be broadcasting the game and staying open all night. If we make it to the Fiesta Bowl, there will be a really good chance we will be hosting a late night watch party for it. Go dawgs!

THE DAWGS ARE BACK TO BACK SEC CHAMPS! Huge thank you to all our dawgs in London that came out last night for the 28-7 win over the Tide. On to the playoffs! Go dawgs!!

SEC TITLE GAME: Join us this Saturday as the dawgs defend their SEC title vs. Alabama! As we are expecting a bigger crowd than usual, we will be reserving tables for those who request them with a minimum donation of $20 per table to our London Experiential Scholarship, which sends UGA students to study at Oxford University. DM us with your table reservation request and we will send instructions on how to make the donation. Any remaining tables the day of the game will be first come, first serve

DAWGS WIN! Thanks to everyone that came out last night to - Waterloo for the 8th straight victory over Tech. We are looking forward to watching the dawgs defend their SEC title next week. We will be announcing plans for that game watching party shortly. Go dawgs!

CLEAN OLD-FASHIONED HATE WEEK! Join the London Dawgs on Black Friday for UGA vs. the North Avenue Trade School. It’s time to remind little brother who runs this state. We will be back at - Waterloo for the Friday evening 8:30PM GMT kickoff. Go dawgs!
