Positive Peers We are the Positive Peers, students trained to help our fellow students thrive through creating student-only spaces, using health promotion and support.�

Through health promotion and support, the Positive Peers are a key component of the King’s Wellbeing Team and contribute to the larger health faculties’ commitment to improve student mental health and wellbeing.

‘We believe that by building peer relationships and promoting proactive wellbeing strategies, we can create a happier, healthier and more resilient community where healthcare students can reach their full potential’

On Thursday 4th May at 7pm-9pm, BST will be hosting a special Black Students Move (BSM) session for Take Time Out*! This will be a Circuits class and take place at the King’s Sport London Bridge Gym. Come along for a wellbeing-focused workout run in collaboration with Black King’s Sport trainers where you create the playlist.

Calling all Black (African, Caribbean, Mixed with Black heritage, African diaspora) students at King’s!

On Thursday 9th March at 7:00pm-9:00pm, BST will be hosting a Black Students Move Session (BSM) for Women’s Day and UMHD! This will be a Glutes and Abs class and will take place at the King’s Sport London Bridge Gym. Come along for a wellbeing-focused workout run in collaboration with Black King’s Sport trainers.

Black Students Talk (BST) is a peer support group that provides safe, supportive and therapeutic spaces for students at King’s who identify as Black to meet, share, learn and manage their mental health and wellbeing.

This Eating Disorders Awareness week, Positive Peers are collaborating with in order to raise awareness of eating disorders.

Beat are the UK’s eating disorder charity. Around 1.25 million people in the UK of all ages, genders and backgrounds suffer from an eating disorder. But, with the right treatment and support, recovery is possible.
