✍️ Applications are now open for the ESRC Postdoctoral Fellowship in the Department of Geography and Environment at LSE.

We are inviting candidates whose research aligns with our work across the social sciences, particularly in areas such as political economy, environment and society, development, urban studies, and migration.

This fellowship is designed to help you consolidate your research profile following your PhD, with a focus on developing your doctoral work (no new projects permitted). Applicants must have passed their viva by 1 June 2026 and be awarded their PhD by 1 October 2026.
