A co-ed Bhangra team of strong, talented dancers from St George's University. DM for bookings! Founded by Randeep Dhariwal, St. George's.

George's Bhangra began in September 2010. This opened the doors and laid a path for the potential of a team to be set up and be the first of its kind at St. The team is now ever growing and expanding in experience with hopes to forever continue promoting Punjabi culture. It’s that time of year again 🤩 We are holding auditions to join the St George’s Bhangra Squad for 24/25 !!

This is a great chance to perform at gigs/events/competitions and brush up your dancing skills. Previously our squad has performed for BBC, CroydonMela and many more. If you cannot make it, DM us !

No prior experience is required so bring your friends along with you!

We will be teaching the audition routine in the class step by step so come along and learn from the best!

We are back for another year of Bhangra classes!

As always our classes are free and open to everyone, you don’t need any prior dance experience to join in!

Our instructors will teach you everything you need to know so all you need to being is some water and comfortable clothes to dance in!

Come down to get in some exercise with friends, learn a new dance form and even have the opportunity to perform at shows, gigs and competitions!

Our Story

Founded by Randeep Dhariwal in September 2010, the initial interest was measured at a freshers fayre to see if people would take part in a Bhangra Team. This was followed by a successful audition attended by around 30 people. This opened the doors and laid a path for the potential of a team to be set up and be the first of its kind at St. George's. The team is now ever growing and expanding in experience with hopes to forever continue promoting Punjabi culture.
