’s MA Creative & Life Writing graduate .Dunnigan reads from her novel ‘Jean’.

Dunnigan describes the book as “English ‘Call Me By Your Name’”.

Set in 1976 at a rural English boarding school for boys, the book explores a broken love story between Jean and another boy at the school.

⭐️Join us at Nunhead Cemetery Late on 15 May🌜 

Come along for an evening of art, performance and music inspired by the cemetery’s history, landscape and ecology. The free event will feature interactive experiences created by Goldsmiths’ staff and students and .  

As dusk falls, the cemetery will be transformed - masked performers will emerge, live music will drift between the headstones, and puppets will process its paths. Listen like a tree, meet the wandering cat, witness the emergence of a living sculpture from a ruined chapel, and hear the voices of London’s past.

Thomas is the recipient of the Betty Trask Prize, an award for debut novelists under 35, for his novel The Last Good Man.

🛹 The findings of the first-ever national survey of skateparks have been revealed 🛹 
 
Goldsmiths researchers collaborated on the landmark survey of the UK’s skateable spaces, which found that there’s major variation in provision across different regions, and that while many sites meet the needs for beginners, none meet international competition standards. The research also highlights the important role community plays. 
 
Dr from the School of Mind, Body and Society – who is herself a skateboarder and researches learning in the skatepark – collaborated with and .
