Only 1 in 3 pupils from low-income backgrounds leave school with basic qualifications. For just 90 minutes on a Wednesday afternoon you can join Team Up’s leadership programme to tackle social inequality in London while gaining a career mentor for yourself!
Equipped with full training and detailed resources, you will be partnered with a group of three disadvantaged pupils who are currently under-performing in English or maths and provide them with the academic support, encouragement and inspiration they need to get back on track. On average, over the past year, pupils on our programme made double the level of nationally expected progress!
In addition you will:
- Gain a career mentor from an industry of your choice
- Achieve an accredited qualification in leadership
- Receive access to full lesson plans and on-site support
