🎧 In December we had the great pleasure of recording “Lumina”, an album for Decca Classics with the extraordinary male soprano Samuel Mariño, under the direction of Ben Palmer - conductor. The first single is out today - feast your ears! Huge thanks to producer Jonathan Allen, to the team at Decca, and to beautiful St Jude on the Hill, where we recorded.

Staring down the barrel of one of the most inspiring and daunting weeks of my career: seven days of continuous rehearsals and concerts, Tue-Mon, with four orchestras in four venues across two cities, three of which are part of the inaugural London Soundtrack Festival . Come to a concert!

📍Mon 24 Mar: Silence of the Lambs in Concert (world premiere) with Academy of St Martin in the Fields at Barbican Centre

I can’t really put into words how lucky I feel to work with all these amazing musicians, composers, and music I love. I’ll try to share some stories etc along the way!

PS: Can anyone name the conductor pictured here on the podium with Chaplin at the film’s scoring sessions in 1935? Answers in the comments, please.
