A week of talks, workshops, creative events and exhibitions looking at how research happens at Greenwich.

You don't need to be research-active to come along. It's open to all staff and students across every discipline, and a few sessions are also open to external partners and collaborators.

📣 The Events Team at the University of Greenwich is looking for alumni to speak at our upcoming Postgraduate Virtual Open Day on Wednesday 20 May, 5.15pm to 6.00pm.

You'd be taking part in a dedicated session: "Why study at the University of Greenwich? Meet current students and alumni" which is a short virtual talk where you'll share your student journey, university experience, and career insights to help inspire the next generation of postgraduate students.

This is a wonderful opportunity to give back, stay connected with the university, and be a voice that could genuinely shape someone's decision to pursue their postgrad goals.

MOVEMENT 2026, the annual Careers & Employability Conference from BA Animation at the University of Greenwich, takes place Thursday 7 May 2026. Students and alumni are invited!

Now in its 10th year, MOVEMENT brings together voices from the Creative Industries. This year's focus: Women in Animation - spotlighting career paths across VFX, 3D, experimental animation and more.

Early and mid-career artists will share how they broke into the industry through 20-minute presentations and a panel discussion. Speakers include Quentin Corker Marin, Rebecca Meilak, Nicola Gunn, Eleonora Laddago and Hyeyeon Yoo.

Hosted by Min Young Oh and co-curated with Olive Gingrich and Manos Kanellos. Supported by DNEG Animation and The Observatory, in collaboration with UAL: University of the Arts London, University of Greenwich Faculty of Liberal Arts & Sciences and Art in Flux London.
