Class Gift - Make an impact, leave your mark. It is a collective donation raised by student and alumni year- groups at Cass. From raising funds for student bursaries and scholarships to improving facilities on campus, Class Giving provides opportunities for current and former Cass students to make an impact by supporting their alma mater. Responsibilities of a Class Gift Champion
•Club Members wil
l communicate objectives of the Club to fellow students/alumni i.e. supporting the School, giving back and working towards a shared purpose. Thereby acting as leaders and change-makers.
•Responsible for promoting student participation at events. Thereby enhancing their marketing skills
•Student(s) will be responsible for designing event invitations.
•Every club member will promote the club via Word of Mouth to fellow classmates. Again, laying the stress on the ability to sell and market an idea.
•Every club member will pitch the idea of supporting a philanthropic activity at an educational institution to external contacts e.g. corporate organisations. This will be an exercise to improve their communication and presentation skills.
•Every club member will communicate in writing (via email) to their classmates and friends within Cass –what they are doing for the school, how they are doing it. Timely emails sent out about events, funds raised so far etc.
•Every club member will participate in planning fundraising activities across the year. Thus putting into effect strategic and planning skills developed in the classroom.
•Every club member will be involved in the organisation of an event and see that it runs through. This will instil a sense of ownership to their community and promote responsible behaviours.
