Commonwealth University of Sylhet Encouraging Talents To Blossom At present, Bangladesh has a total of 88 universities (34 public and 54 private universities).

Given the limited places available in public universities, many students now receive undergraduate and postgraduate education at private universities. Yet some families wonder whether these institutions can offer high-quality education, building on essential academic infrastructures and informed by world-class research. Only with those foundations can a private or public university prepare graduat

es to be self-employed, innovative and entrepreneurial leaders in their chosen fields of industry. This means that many students go to India, Singapore, Australia, UK, USA, Canada and other foreign countries in the quest for high-quality education. According to the survey, 60% of these students would be more inclined to choose to study in Bangladesh if there was a University offering education of a world-class standard.
