SAOT in Brazil is officially underway 🌎⚽🇧🇷

We’ve installed our automated tracking camera at the legendary Maracanã Stadium.

Now, it’s also home to technology helping bring advanced officiating to Brazilian football.

As part of our partnership with Confederação Brasileira de Futebol , Genius Sports’ optical tracking technology will support semi-automated offside decisions across competitions in 2026.

Powered by GeniusIQ, our sports data and AI platform, the system helps speed up decisions, from identifying the kick point to generating a clear 3D offside visual.

Yesterday, Genius fundraisers from our London office joined Walk92, completing the 9km route from Brentford FC to Fulham FC Official.

Starting pitch side at the Gtech Community Stadium, our walkers (and runners) made their way along the Thames to support the brilliant work of Sport Local Action and the Street Soccer Foundation, helping break down barriers to sport for young people and tackling youth homelessness.

Together with fundraising from everyone involved, contributions went directly to these fantastic charities.

A big thank you to everyone who took part and supported the initiative, demonstrating how sport can unite communities and create positive change. 💙

🌍🏀 Uniting through the power of sport.

This summer, Genius Sports was proud to sponsor the Ukrainian MINI Basketball Festival (Фестиваль з МІНІ баскетболу Україна) bringing together 50 teams from U10 to U14 to compete, connect and enjoy the game they love.

In partnership with the FIBA Foundation and their Basketball for Good programme, we supported organisers in empowering young players and their dedicated coaches, while celebrating the future of basketball.

As well as sponsoring the event, Genius Sports provided access to our LiveStats technology and website tools, giving these young athletes a truly professional experience.
