We love the opportunity to teach Biblical languages at Oak Hill, and to help people keep them going once they finish their studies.

This week we were thrilled to host 15 people who wanted to refresh their languages - enjoying time in the Biblical text and time together over food!

We've been delighted to welcome John Funnell (Pastor at Noddfa Church), Jonathan Macy (Minister at Church of the Cross in Thamesmead), Gary Jenkins (Dean of Estate Ministry in the Southwark Diocese) and Natalie Williams
(CEO ofJubilee+).

This week is our annual Impact Week - where students, outside of normal class structures, explore different topics and themes relevant to them for future ministry.

This year the focus is on Class and Ministry in the UK.

On Monday we are delighted to welcome John Funnell (Pastor at Noddfa Church), Jonathan Macy (Minister at Church of the Cross in Thamesmead), Gary Jenkins (Dean of Estate Ministry in the Southwark Diocese) and Natallie Williams (CEO of Jubilee +).

Tuesday is our public School of Theology where over 100 people will join us to listen to plenaries and seminars on this topic.

Wednesday sees students sent out across London to visit a range of local churches and areas known for their thoughtful and intentional engagement with different class ministry.

Thursday is a day to process and reflect all that’s happened in the week.

Friday then sees students split into two groups for a day-long immersion experience in field-based learning among non-Christian religious communities which are both unique and like others across London and around the UK. The purpose is not only to learn about other faiths but to reflect missiologically on what it means to witness to Christ in a pluralistic society with wisdom, respect, faithfulness, and clarity.

Please do pray, that these days and their experiences and learning will be a good seed bed for faithful, wise and courageous ministries in times and places to come 🙏
