Imagine if this was your classroom.

At our college, students don’t just take on a brief, they bring it to life.

This week, students across our college campuses came together and merged their studies in hair and media make-up with film and visual effects for a creative project at Mosaic@Soho.

The students used their skills to create a zombie bride and then photographed this amazing character, using the green screen studio, virtual production space and external urban settings at our college.

How does a purple cabinet help our kitchens be more sustainable? 🌍

At our Westminster campus, chef lecturer Tom shared how the EVA Grow cabinet grows varieties of cress to be used in our kitchens, helping reduce waste and food miles.

Tom said: “The idea is that you can grow cress for your kitchen, so your food miles are metres rather than miles.”

A simple idea making our kitchens more sustainable and shaping the future of hospitality.

Building on success as we head into this year’s AoC Sport National Sports Championships 🏀

Back in December, our sports team, the Capital City Cobras, delivered an outstanding performance, dominating the regional competition and securing their place at the national championships.

Now, our teams are preparing to compete again, representing Capital City College on the national stage across multiple sports.

This year, we are proud to have students competing in:
• Basketball 🏀
• Netball 🏐
• Athletics 🏃

We wish all of our teams the best of luck as they head into this year’s championships this weekend.
