On 4 March, MSc in Energy Management students from ESCP Business School visited the 5 MWp ๐ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ผ๐ฟ ๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐บ ๐๐ด๐ด๐ถ๐ป๐ด๐๐ผ๐ป solar park in North London. Developed by ๐๐ถ๐ด๐ต๐๐๐ผ๐๐ฟ๐ฐ๐ฒ ๐ฏ๐ฝ and now owned by ๐๐น๐๐ฒ๐ณ๐ถ๐ฒ๐น๐ฑ ๐ฆ๐ผ๐น๐ฎ๐ฟ ๐๐ป๐ฐ๐ผ๐บ๐ฒ ๐๐๐ป๐ฑ and ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ป๐ณ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐๐๐ฟ๐๐ฐ๐๐๐ฟ๐ฒ, the site provided a valuable opportunity to see theory applied to ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฎ๐น-๐๐ผ๐ฟ๐น๐ฑ ๐ฒ๐ป๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ด๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ฒ๐บ๐.
Students explored:

โThis was my first time visiting a solar farm, and it was a great learning experience. It was interesting to see that energy generation can coexist with agriculture and biodiversity, with sheep grazing naturally maintaining the land. The Lightsource bp team also shared valuable insights into electricity markets, making the visit more engaging.
