Footfall Theatre was founded in 2014 by a group of Cambridge University graduates with a passion for Shakespeare’s texts and collaborative theatre. Shakespeare's dramatic language - both verse and prose – constantly astonishes us, and is in every sense the central focus of Footfall's creative process. Working openly, fearlessly and playfully with Shakespeare's language, we significantly rework and

reshape the original text whilst constantly holding in balance the original nature of the play and its characters.
