Continuing our introductions to the Summer Institute 2026 Mentor Team, we’re thrilled to welcome Robert Van Namen, a distinguished expert whose career spans the full nuclear fuel cycle, from uranium activities to conversion, enrichment, and fabrication, as well as spent fuel management. Robert began his career in core design and safety analysis, building a deep technical foundation that has informed his decades of leadership in the nuclear sector. His expertise and perspective on the interconnected stages of fuel cycle operations will be an invaluable addition to the programme.
