Meet STORM 🌌—the Satellite Tracking and Orbital Rendezvous Motion simulator developed by a talented team at the University of Southampton! Designed to make satellite docking tests more affordable and accessible, this master’s project is pushing the boundaries of space engineering. We’re proud to support their mission through the RS Student Fund, helping them source key motion components and camera systems to bring their simulator to life. Incredible work from an inspiring team!

From concept to competition! 🐭⚙️ We’re proud to support this brilliant student-led side project: a robotic micromouse built using custom hardware, embedded Rust, and powered by components from RS. With the aim of competing in a robot tag event hosted by Aberdeen University Robotics Society, it’s a great example of curiosity, creativity, and technical skill in action. We love seeing RS components helping bring innovative ideas to life!
