The human eye is one of the most sophisticated organs in the body, capable of processing millions of visual signals every second. Each layer and structure plays a vital role in providing clear vision.

🔹 Cornea – The transparent outer covering that protects the eye and performs most of the light-focusing process.

🔹 Iris – The colored part of the eye that controls the size of the pupil and regulates the amount of light entering the eye.

🔹 Pupil – The central opening in the iris through which light enters the eye.

🔹 Lens – A transparent, flexible structure that changes shape to focus light accurately onto the retina.

🔹 Ciliary Body – Contains muscles that adjust the shape of the lens for near and distant vision and produces aqueous humor.

🔹 Vitreous Humor – A transparent gel-like substance that fills the eye, maintains its shape, and supports the retina.

🔹 Retina – A light-sensitive layer containing rods and cones that convert light into electrical signals for the brain.

🔹 Choroid – A vascular layer rich in blood vessels that supplies oxygen and nutrients to the retina.
