St Dunstan's College

St Dunstan's College St Dunstan’s College is a school community that is grounded in the vibrancy of its South London setting.

St Dunstan’s College is an ambitious, forward-thinking community that champions individuality through a broad, liberal, and academically exciting education, whilst retaining our historic and valued traditions. We celebrate the opportunities afforded to us by being located in such a diverse environment, allowing for all manner of views, opinions and styles – what better foundation to an exceptional

education. We embellish the values embodied by St Dunstan, using the life of that great polymath to guide our own educational narrative. We encourage creativity and innovation and we want our pupils to embrace the richness of a broad education, whilst not forsaking the importance of rigour and depth of achievement. We know coeducation to be the right platform for developing the interpersonal skills necessary to succeed in the modern world. The importance we place on nurturing individuality and the manageable size of our school is such that we ensure pupils do not get lost, but rather thrive in their own way. The comfort provided by our rigorous approach to pastoral care enables our pupils to take risks, ask difficult questions of themselves and others, and above all else develop the humility, confidence and tenacity needed to find success in all aspects of life beyond school. As a Nursery to Year 13 College, we pride ourselves on genuinely knowing the children under our care, and we hope that our families will feel an important part of this community.

Last Monday saw one of the highlights of the St Dunstan’s CCF calendar: the Army vs. Navy Drill Competition. ⭐️
It was an impressive showing on all sides, with the Navy Drill team securing victory by a small margin.
The skill and discipline showed by the students involved was a real testament to their hard work, and the strength of our CCF contingent – well done to all!

It’s World Book Day!📚
Today is all about celebrating our love of reading, so we caught up with some of our teachers and support staff in the library to ask them a bit about their favourite books.
From Jane Eyre to the Gruffalo, there are some recommendations for everyone here – we hope this helps to inspire everyone to pick up a book and get reading! 🌟

This week, a group of Year 12 girls who are studying business attended an Insight Day at Twenty-four Asset Management, gaining a first-hand look at the world of investment and finance. They explored how the industry works and discovered the wide range of roles within the organisation, from portfolio management to compliance and client relations. The experience gave students valuable knowledge about career opportunities in this dynamic sector.

We’re so excited to watch Dunstonian Noah Calouri play for England Rugby Men’s A team this afternoon when they line up against the All Blacks IV in Bath!
Noah attended both St Dunstan’s Junior and Senior schools, and learned to play rugby here under the expert tutelage of Richard Linfield. In his Junior School leaver’s yearbook, when asked “what will you miss most about junior school”, Noah’s reply was “an unbeaten rugby season with my friends”, proving that the competitive spirit was definitely there from a young age!
The match is showing at 1.15pm on Premier Sports.
Good luck Noah and come on England!

At St Dunstan’s Junior School, we are brave in the choices we make for our pupils. We can do this because of the strong, trusting relationships we hold with parents and carers, who choose our school because of the way we nurture natural curiosity and support children in discovering where and how they fit into the world.

Learning here is never restricted to the classroom. It takes place everywhere: through our co-curricular Forder Programme (with over 90 activities each week), performing on professional stages, overcoming fears on residential trips, developing teamwork on the sports field, or deepening an understanding of the natural world in our Woodland Classroom.
