We can't believe it's been 5 years since the MSc programme launched in October 2016. In celebration of this milestone we held a virtual and face to face celebration in September. Find out more details here:

Thanks to all those who took part, and we can't wait to see where things go!

Welcome back to our GMNR students for term 3 this week!

As we move into the spring and summer period we are beginning to focus on the research project, as well as students undertaking the Social Licensing module, which looks into the relationship between companies and people, societies and stakeholders.

We're also hopeful that we will be able to meet more of our students soon in face to face sessions as term progresses!

We’re so excited to have our 2020–21 cohort with us!

Unsurprisingly we’ve started the year a bit differently! First live ‘synchronous’ session with this year’s cohort today - glad to see and hear from so many enthusiastic students about the resources industry. Onwards and upwards! ⚒🌎🌍🌏

Congratulations to our visiting students from the MSc in Global Management of Natural Resources at University College London, whom handed in their research dissertations at the end of August, successfully sat their vivas and are now heading off home across the globe. Nineteen students from UCL came to Adelaide in April to do research projects with supervisors from FII and other areas of UniSA, as part of the UCL Faculty of Engineering – UniSA partnership. Projects were diverse and multidisciplinary - ranging from microfluidics and machine learning in mineral exploration, to battery recycling, desalination, pollution and water resources management, through to finance and corporate social responsibility in the energy and resources sectors. Feedback from the course was overwhelmingly positive and the students all mentioned how much they appreciated working with their UniSA supervisors (and what a terrific time they had in Adelaide). Just about to start its third year, the MSc is going from strength to strength with ~thirty students starting in the next cohort in London in a few weeks, then heading to Adelaide in April next year.
