An inspiring evening of diplomacy, dialogue, and global perspectives at Goodenough College. 🌍
We were honoured to welcome His Excellency Bernhard Wrabetz, Austrian Ambassador to the Court of St James’s, for a thought-provoking Port Talk exploring how smaller countries make their voices heard on the global stage.
The Ambassador shared insights into the realities of modern diplomacy, from navigating complex international relations to identifying opportunities where influence goes beyond size. The discussion sparked engaging questions from Members and opened up space for reflection on the role of strategic dialogue and cooperation in today’s world.
✨ In our Members’ own words:
🙌 “It was fascinating to hear how smaller countries can still make their voices heard in international diplomacy, especially through international organisations and law. What stood out most were the Ambassador’s personal insights into the realities of diplomatic life - it made the whole field feel much more tangible.”
