The School of Computing and Engineering is the home of the STEM subjects at the University of West London. We endeavour to educate the engineers, technologists and professionals of the future with full employability of graduates being at the top of our list of priorities. The undergraduate and postgraduate courses on offer are designed to be compatible with, and relevant to, the needs of the chang

ing technological and global environment in which we live. To this effect, interaction and collaboration with industry and the relevant professional bodies are of paramount importance to us and our activities. We run a number of courses accredited by professional bodies and have set a target to achieve full accreditation of our whole suite of courses within the next three years. We are very aware of the changing employment market and hence have developed a significant portfolio of courses catering for part-time studies across the courses offered by the School. Within the context of widening access to our School, we have also developed “Foundation Year” study routes catering for students with vocational and non-conventional pre-university qualifications and backgrounds. Research, enterprise and knowledge transfer activities are integral parts of the School’s day to day life. We believe in research-informed teaching in our courses and our students benefit from the latest findings and developments within a variety of engineering and technology related subjects. The School currently has eight active research groups with more than 40 research students / assistants studying for their PhD under the guidance and supervision of a number of experienced and eminent academics. We operate in a friendly and supportive environment, with the student experience at the very heart of our operation. Our dedicated and fully committed academic staff are instrumental in providing high quality teaching and add value to our students’ learning experience. We would like to take this opportunity to invite you to visit our web pages to find out more about the coordinates of our operation and details of the courses we offer at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
