Dear Cass Business School Students,
The Cass Exposure is honoured to host Mr. Tharidu Gamwara, a Vice President at J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. on campus on the 12th of March for a moderated Q&A session about the banking industry in general, and breaking into it in particular.

In his current role, he is responsible for leading teams that provide Finance coverage for the Interest Rate Derivatives, Global FX Options and Exotics and Hybrids trading businesses. The role encompasses Risk Management and P&L attribution for traded financial products, in addition to working closely with regulators implementing new regulations for the EMEA region for Emerging Markets. Tharidu has been in his current role since 2011, prior to which he spent a year working in Market Risk at a leading German Bank. Promoted to Vice President at the age of 26, he was one of the youngest to achieve this feat within the Emerging Markets space. He has a First Class undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering, a MSc in Finance from Imperial College, and is currently studying towards an Executive MBA at University of Cambridge.
The event is expected to be a very intense Q&A session, set to commence with a set of pre-submitted questions, and followed by questions from the floor. Following the Q&A session, attendees will have the opportunity of networking with Tharidu and Monica Matow, a Cass graduate currently on the Finance Graduate Scheme, over wine in the Mill Area on campus.
